Discovery of humpback whales (Duration 3 hours)
Come and observe these marine mammals that come each year to rest and give birth in the warm waters of Polynesia.
You’ll have the chance to get up close to the cetaceans, while respecting the rules for approaching them so as to observe them without disturbing them.
After this encounter, we’ll show you Moorea’s marvellous lagoon, with its unprecedented richness of life, and we often come across dolphins in the lagoon or in the passes.
We’ll stop to see turtles in their natural habitat and make a snorkeling stop to swim with stingrays and blacktip sharks.
Important note for boat launches :
To swim with the whales, you need to be able to swim with snorkeling equipment (mask, fins and snorkel). Approach rules require us to swim about 150 meters out to sea and back.
You don’t have to get in the water, but you can observe them from the boat.
